Reflections on life
 |
|
| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
I'm currently visiting a friend who's working and living in the Philippines. He just got a little baby girl with his wife Ava and off course getting children makes an impact on your life. Since we are both 31, it makes me wonder how he deals with things, how his life has changed, if he is happy with that, how he feels about the added responsibility, how he sees the future... Basically, reflections on life.
We went to a beach place an hour's drive from their home. We're sitting here, having a Coke, chatting, talking with the beach behind us. What you're actually looking at are our reflections in an aquarium, reflecting us and the sea. The only things not reflecting in this picture have to do with their newborn baby... They are there, she's there, this is now, this is real, this is life, no matter how hard you reflect.
And they both love it intensely, and I love to see that, talk about it and reflect in my thoughts on my own future. |

Your picture connects beautifully to yor write-up with the aquarium reflections and the baby stuffs. Very well done, composition and all!

Hi Dennis,
The reflections on the window are very good!
I like the mood of what's going on here, I mean, in the other side :-), a relaxed conversation.
Like also the palm element, it adds some nature accent.
But I found the elements at the front a little bit disturbing, the stones or coral's textures are so good that is a shame to interrup their viewing. But I figured out that this was the point of view you were able to do.
Well done and thanks for share it.
My best regards,
JM
