CHAOTIC DIVISORIA Photo

Photographer’s Note

The main street that leads to Divisoria is Claro Recto Street (formerly Azcarraga). It has a railroad track that is used sparingly. Freight trains travel there at night and very early morning. During daytime the track area belongs to everybody even to these little kids. They are shown here playing with found objects. Their parents are probably peddling in the streets. Why is this scene happening? Is it the fault of the parents, society or the government? It is way too much for me to comprehend. I took this while the car was moving slowly in traffic.

Nice shot, nice details, It is sad to see this though, There's definately a big difference between The Islands and the Mainland, Although it is common scene to see this :( .. it makes me feel terrible, yet understand how lucky i was when growing up around people similar..

Great picture, captured the atmosphere and reminds me of my days in Manila

Very powerful shot! The innocence of children, in the chaos and mess of the world. While there is a slight amount of blur from the motion of the car, it doesn't diminish the impact of the photo. Excellent work.
