Nicaragua, Belgium, Colombia, France, Mexico, Dominican Republic, Italy, Philippines, Peru, Puerto Rico, Canary Islands and Guam have well-established arenas with seats or bleachers for spectators surrounding the ring, similar to a wrestling or boxing arena, and fights may be held all throughout the day. In many countries, the spectacle of cockfighting draws whole families, and in some countries, cockfighting is as popular as baseball and football are in the United States. Among the competitors who raise fighting cocks, there is great pride in the prowess of their birds and in winning a championship.

super stuff with a terrific POV and great expressions and characters throughout. My personal favourite bit is the scoreboards and the man sitting up on the plank.
I think that a black and white version might have a nice decisive moment HCB kind of feel to it

Hello Marcin. I know many countries practice this event. Cock fighting is illegal here in Canada. From what I understand it must be very entertaining to watch. Kind of cruel in a way. Good image!

Hi Marcin,
A great action daily life shot with good use of ambient available light. Nice low angle and I love the expressions and different stances of the spectators, especially the guy lounging on the ledge. We saw cock fighting in Madagascar too, it is quite gruesome.
