Photographer’s Note

A sunset sail on Boracay Island in the Philippines.

Boracay Island is touted to have one of the best beaches in the world. The white beach is what most people come here for. It is miles and miles of pure white sand ... even if there are many people on the beach, you don't feel crowded at all.

Water sports also abound ... diving, snorkeling, windsurfing ... and of course sailing. A sail during the sunset is quite wonderful.

Very nice Ken. The shiluettte of this boat against the tinted horizon works very well. Though there is little you could have done, I think it would have been even better if there were no other boats cluttering the horizon, but still deserving of top marks.

hi ken, what i truly find magnificent in this image is the fact that the camera must have been quite close to the surface of the water, hence providing that beautiful sea canvass that is seldom seen, well done!

Hi Ken, A wonderful POV gives the impression of being in the water, great composition i like the way there is space infront of the boat for it to move into, the light is excellent, you have captured the ripples on the sea superbly, great shot, kind regards Wilson.
