Thanks to bagyong Paeng (my first ever typhoon experience) and the as-tall-as-the-bus landslide (also my first landslide encouter) Gail and I had an unplanned stopover in Banaue..

The next day when the coast err i should say mountains were clear for us to finally push through to Sagada, our van had a quick stopover at one of the rice terecces view point. Was lucky enough to capture Apo (elderly in ilocano) smiling opposite my lens' angle
