Photographer’s Note

Saw this boy clinging on a pole, I was inrigued by his big expressive pair of eyes, my favorite traits for the portraits I shoot. The highlight in his eyes were improved as he looked a little bit up towards the bright sky. I titled it ridiculed as his playmates laughed at him while I was taking his pictures.

Awesome picture! Great depth of focus and I like the reflection in his eyes. The kids in the background seem to be having a great time! Any post-processing on this shot? Thanks for sharing,

Fantastic photo. I am impressed by the beauty of his eyes and expression you caught. A bit more space on the right would not hurt though. Wonderful anyhow.

very unique, strong portrait. The pix cries out for a story, from the contrast between his huge presence and the others in the background, but all the same, you worked a very tight compo, and took care of the background expertly, the wall is a perfect tonal curtain against his expressive eyes. Bravo, Ed, you've got a thing with children portraits, assuredly, the more natural the better.

Hi Ed. In the foreground the boy dominates and in the background is brothers and sisters to be recognized. The sharpness is very well adjusted to the boy. Above all impress the large eyes of the boy. A very beautifully composed picture. Many greetings, Wolfgang.
