Quiet Island Sunrise Photo

Photographer’s Note

5am is a wonderfull time to awake on the Island...it's still very dark out, and the sky's going to be getting lighter very soon.

I hop on my motorbike to make a short trip over to Alice Beach and I smile while the cool air races over my face, while I plan the day's tasks.

It's very quiet & peacefull here now - I can get the sunrise images and work on them later; the Island's quiet character lets me get a lot of work & writing done there.

Hi Paul,
Gorgeous sunset of Santa Fe. The colors, silhouette and the placement of the coconut are all good. (Is this Bantayan Island?). Best wishes.

Beautiful shot! Almost a postcard look to it. The exposure of this lovely sunset seems to fall off a bit at the corners of the image - I wonder if the lens is vignetting a bit. Easily fixed in PP.

Great colours and clever composition. Well done!
