Photographer’s Note
I said I would show you the other side of the moon yesterday. So here it is!;-)) The back was far more elaborate than his chest... and far less threatening too;-)
I created a new theme on Tattoos.. go check it and add your own photos on the theme...

Salut Eric,
c'est assez impressionant de voir un corps aussi tatoué, on sent que le cadrage est vraiment orienté pour les tatouages et cela marche plutôt bien...

Hi Eric,
the details in the artwork are fantastic. Although I must say I have no idea why people do that to themselves. But not judging it at all, and just looking at the work it is quite spectacular stuff. A little details, but Im happy its there, is the chain at the top that really serves to deliniate the place where this artwork begins while the shorts do it at the bottom.

hey...
the details are enthralling. i love the silver chain. and the white pants, making you wonder what more could be there hidden from the eye. ;-)
great subject. thanks a lot for sharing.

Interesting shot Eric;
A different type of daily life shot then we are used to seeing. Did you happen to get any shots of the tattoo in progress???
Sharp detail and an interesting note. My only suggestion for this shot, is I think it would be better if centered more- giving the image a bit more symmetry?
All the best Eric,
- Dan

I've never, ever have seen anything comparable! This is incredible work and probably incredible pain, Eric... While I am not into tattoos at all, I find this one pretty impressive, probably wouldn't mind if it were henna so that it would wear off. But he chose to live the rest of his life with it, and he chose a professional body artist for the job... and your shot is tremendous. Looks a bit like a Chinese laquer painting!
A great back!

Hi Eric, I have a book about the Dayak, former headhunters on Borneo, and they do tribal tattooing, which I like, and is impressive, they do not have modern needles, but do it by hand. The most painful they know, is the throat Tattoo.
Somehow I find this impressive too (Although I don't undertsand it and I'm not really a tattoo fan0, but in cultures where it's always been that way, the tattoos are different too.
I still find it a strange way to ornament your body.
