Digging saga continues...

As Filipinos are predominantly raised in Christian-Catholic faith, it's not unusual to find cathedrals/churches/places or reminders of worship even in the remotest part of its towns. The Station 1 in Boracay island included, has a Marian grotto built in one of the rock 'islets'.

Used circular polarizer to deepen the shades of blue.

PP done: Rotate 0.5deg CCW, minimal cropping, addition of border

Very interesting picture. In Venezuela it is usual, too, to find small chapels in strange places (see my picture: http://www.trekearth.com/gallery/South_America/Venezuela/East/photo306653.htm), but I had never seen one like this one. Nice composition and beautiful colors. Do you have a close up of the Virgin? Regards, Yvonne

Well framed, nice amount of sky included too; the wispy white of the clouds and the rich mid-blue of the sky complement the blue & white of the statue very well.

Wow, wonderful job you did there,Che. this is definitely one of your best photos. The composition is perfect. The sky is excellent and so are the sharpness and the contrast of the picture. I think you did a small "mistake" there with the White Balance settings (the colours are a little bit too "cold") but it works well for the picture. Congratulations!Hercules

Very well composed picture with nice colors. Good choice - the polarizer filter did its function well.
