Photographer's Note

In the Philippines, it is customary for kids to play in the river during summer. In my trip around my province (that same day when I hired a cab), I saw these boys in the river in the town of Tigbauan. I stopped for almost an hour and took over 100 shots of them.

great shot manny! the water was not quite as blue as on mine from Boracay, but you got 4 in the frame and one with a very funny face:-) great shot!

Hi Manuel. I just wonder where they'd landed after the jump. I see the kids looks more vivid than those in Japan. Very good take of them in action. The face of the kid in the middle made me laugh. I hope he won't mind seeing himself looking like it. Where did his eyes look at then...haha. Dynamic actions, very good photo.

C'est tout simplement fou la manière dont tu as réussi à figer ce mouvement !
En plus les positions sont folles et on a l'impression qu'ils vont s'écraser sur la terre, l'effet est géant.
Pis pour terminer...superbe jeu de couleurs.

This is one of your best work, Manuel! You caught the kids with such vibrant gestures and with such various posture, it enhances the joy and individualism of each of this kids have (and also, us, other humans). Each one is special in it's own way...Well done!
I would have added this take to my favorite, but alas, I am already at my 100th picture so...

a great moment indeed... however i'm quite disappointed with your pp here (by your own high standards especially)... looks way oversharpened, too contrasty and other strange effects (due to shadows/highlights adjustments?...) i'd have also cropped it tighter on top and the right...
