Photographer’s Note
A participant in the mother of all Philippine festivals, the Kalibo Ati-atihan in the province of Aklan. After weeks of dancing and drumming, the Ati-atis by now, in their 6th official day of roaming the streets of Kalibo are running under pure adrenaline. His eyes show it. Hello Ken,
I really like the far-away look in this boy's eyes. You've exposed the shot perfectly to capture the black face. The background is a little cluttered... fortunately it is still fairly blurry but I think f/11 was maybe a little too narrow.
I did a very simple workshop applying an unsharp mask to bring out a little more detail.
