[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
They say this volcano erupts every 300 years. The last big one happened on 1991 so it will be safe to say there will not be another one during our lifetime. The water at the crater is clean and hikers just can't resist to take a swim before leaving. I added the midtones and reduced the highlights a bit. We came here via the easy trail from Santa Juliana, Tarlac (about 4 hours if you don't ride a 4x4 truck)

Bonjour Benedick, superbe vue sur ce volcan, aux couleurs chaude, jolie composition, amitié, cricri

It's so inviting. Makes me wanna go there.. Good job!

Looking through ur gallery I see some good ideas and this one slightly pops out for the perfection, a good compo the lake suggestive taking a turn around the mountain and a wide palet of colors contrasts, sharpness differant levels, a lot of elements to make it a rich photo to look at.

It's a very good photo indeed. What I like most is the image of the water surface and the shades on it. It's really got that something!

Hi, Benedict.

Nice shot. I like the POV & the compo.

Regards,

Loïc

This one is really fantastic. We can feel the depth very easily, and perceive the garndeur of the whole place. We have the impression that we are entering a mythological world, full of magical creatures. A masterpiece.

I think it is wonderful how the explosive remains are now covered and subdued by nature.
thanks for sharing this

great light and great angle, it really captures the beauty of this place. this would work as a great postcard for one of our tourist spot here in the philippines.... would love to have a clear blue sky though.
