Photographer’s Note

The end of May also marks the end of the summer season here in the Philippines. With the impending rainy season coming, we usually experience these thunder storms in the late afternoon to early evening.

This shot is part of my second batch of lightning pics. I adjusted the brightness and colors a little.

Wow Lorenzo, that's a dream of mine, to capture a nice thunderstorm and lightning. How did you do it? Wait until you saw this lightning? But I guess then you are always too late. reaction time of yourself, reaction time of the camera. Impressive, it is as if that one on the left made a loop around the cable.

It is hard to capture lightning but you've done it! I wonder how many photographers have been waiting to capture the perfect burst on top of a mountain and the tripod has acted like a lightning rod...
