Coconut Perch Photo

Photographer’s Note

In gentle Loboc river, some coconut trees serve as a perch for enterprising young boys who jump into the river as tourist barges (serving lunch) pass underneath. Tourists reward them by throwing coins into the river and the boys dive for them before the glistening treasures sink to the bottom.

This is a wonderful image!
The landscape is really amazing, and also if the back of the picture is a little bit out of focus the composition is really beautiful.

nice capture! sky was a bit overexposed but still a great image. I think the workshop was over-sharpen.

your photo makes me green with envy as i never got the chance to take the river when i went there..
any post-prod done? or is just the distance that made the background not so sharp?
