Photographer’s Note
The shot was taken along the beach in Zamboanga City. On a fullmoon and the clouds was moving too fast with the wind, i tried to experiment by capturing the scene with slow shutter. It turn out like an abstract thing.

Good trial to experimentate with the speed, Francis. Try to add as workshop a 'darker' version!

Great shot it has a very surreal feel to it. Did you use a flash to high light the fore ground? The lights on the horizon look good, are they ships or land?
Cheers Robin

Abstract, but beautiful, Francis. It's something like a "Myst" picture. Sometimes, reality meets fiction, when an artist is at work.

Very good capture, Francis. Surreal look and feel due to the extremely slow speed. Interesting how the clouds are moving left to right while the stars are moving vertically.

I am not surprised about your speed in TE, Francis. You deserve. But I must say, congratulations for this wonderful picture.

Very nice. Next time you try this, try having somebody stay absolutely still near the foreground. I'd like to see a pic where all the rest of the background is blurred and surreal like this one but with a person (maybe looking at the moon) in the foreground which is in clear focus.

incredible effect, but I think that you could also cut off the bottom of the picture - it's overexposed and doesn't compose to well with the rest

Beautiful shot. I've been trying lately to get a good night exposure shot like this lately, but with no luck of getting something as good as this. Well done.

Francis this shot is absolutely wonderfull, a real piece of art. I think whatmakesnthe whole thing so cool is the fact that the 1st plan (the beach) is in focus.

Hi Francis
Great shot; nice timing that even the stars are moving. Lovely compo and colours and atmosphere.

The vagueness in the background compared to the sharpness in the foreground makes this a fabulous picture. Keep experimenting. Cheers,

Wow Francis!
This shot is wonderful. The colors, the exposition, the moving clouds.
Thanks for sharing!

You've noticed the motion blur of the stars? The Earth rotation... The stars are those of the Fish and the Whale (Pisces, Cetus). Another demonstration of the low noise of the 300D. Well done!
