Lesser Waterfall of Batlag Falls, a photo from Rizal, Southern Tagalog

Photographer's Note

One of the lesser known wonders of Rizal Province just less than two hours of driving from Manila is Batlag Falls. Just a bit upstream from the better known Daranak Falls, it is a bit tucked away by thick vegetation among tall trees and gnarled roots nevertheless a stone stairway leading to the falls lessens ones effort of reaching it...

Very nice Marvs, seriously well composed photo with great clarity and detail to FG. The main center focus is the waterfall, which is captured beautifully, even though the waterfall stream look low, which to me seems like this stream could easily produce even more water over the falls. I would like to see this waterfall after a really good rain. The colors are warm and earthy and not over powering. Light management centers the photo to the falls perfectly. The brief, but softly presented, reflection on the water shows great detail and ownership. Great Job Marvs!!
