While strolling on White Beach in Boracay, I spotted this group of explorers waiting patiently for their meal to pop out of the coral sand.

great capture! its a good thing the pigeons weren't bothered at all. the boat in the background added a nice dof!

Very nice composition. Your DOF is very interesting here, these "explorers" are very sharp, the boat out of focused : very nice and well framed.

Yes, this is a great pigeon shot, no doubt about that. The breaking waves add a point of interest and the boat in the background is a nice final touch. Good one.

A very impressive photograph.
A background and comparison with pigeons are felt for me snugly.

very good composition with excellent use of Dof

Having the ocean just out of focus implies its movement and seems very weighty and dramatic. Pigeons are fun, too!

This shot works well for me. I like the use of DOF and dramatic surf & sky. I think the thing that makes it most interesting is that we unexpectedly see pigeons on the beach as opposed to sea birds. The halo effect apparent on the pigeons from sharpening is something you could fix by manually burning in the halos to match the sand.

Hi Michael,
Great, sharp photo of the pigeons! Quite a few of them, too. The waves and the boat provide a nice background.
