Well, that was my first impression of Bohol island on arrival as the hotel's car was driving us from the airport.
This van with a group of young people on its roof was driving ahead of us and not very slowly at all I must say. The shot was taken just after the rain in quite gloomy weather and through the stained and dirty windshield while moving behind this van, so you can't expect top notch quality and good sharpness here.
But I think it gives you an idea of some local customs in the Philippines. I don't know how about other counties but at my place the traffic police sure wouldn't be happy seeing that kind of passenger transportation. And neither would be the driver after having communicated with them.:)))

Oh my God, this is very dangerous. Have they transportation problems in Bohol?
However the problem you capture this decisive moment very well Marina. This kinds of things that represent a culture of a country.

OMG! Some friends have told me that there are several countries where the buses going up because people are full and they have a practical and impressive balance. It should be a unique and exciting experience!
I like the moment you've captured and the composition you've decided to take the picture, we can see the entire scene of daily life.
I would like to witness a moment like this:)
Have a great week!

Excellent daily life-picture.
It looks like these guys are going to school or going home from school.
One of the boys on the side of the road seems to ask if he gets a ride too.
Since you took the picture from a moving car, it's normal that it lacks sharpness. Yet you have a very nice framing with the branches of the trees and the flowers. On the whole it's a colourful and lively picture.
Best regards, Paul

Good capture of daily life here which is common in some parts of asia. That's creative! attractive to see how they adapt to local circumstances to suit their needs, it looks dangerous to our standard but practical to them beyond imagination but it works here. Excellent crop nicely fit the frame, well detailed in rich colors and excellent on the move shot. Good record shot from diff culture. Welll done

Hi Marina !!
this is a great photo for TE.... it tells members how different life is in less regulated countries...... have you seen photos of the trains in India with hundred of passengers on the roof !!!!!!!!!!!!
Despite the difficulties of the moment you photo is near perfect... it has also.... captured the spirit of this place.
