Photographer’s Note
Batanes, a small group of islands in the northernmost tip of the Philippines, is famous for its dreamy Ireland-like landscapes and seascapes. Its beautiful terrain, isolated and unseen by many, are sights to behold.
Some of its cliffs are fenced by the people with barbed-wire so that cattle do not wander far away.
The picture is an edited one, using high dynamic range imaging techniques.
