Photographer’s Note

Tanap Avis Falls in Burgos, Ilocos Norte is one of the isolated and less visited falls in the province. Its rugged landscape makes it tough for the typical visitor to explore it. The base can be reached by 30 mins drive and another 30 mins trek. It has many waterfalls, and the image here is just one of them. The bluish waters complement the green surroundings.

Hello Alford,

This is an incredible setting. It reminds me of photos I've seen of Plitvice National Park in Croatia. I love it how the water is made silky with the use of longer exposure and the submerged rocks have that blurred qualitiy about them. This water looks so very inviting for a swim. The dead tree looks good, the shot would be more generic without it.

This is an extraordinary photo. Everything is beautiful from the proper exposure to get the effect of the water flowing to the wonderful colours. The blue of the water is magnificent. Well done.

This is almost weird..!
If I didn't know better I'd say this is glacier water...
Whatever, it is a tasteful composition with good diagonal movement, the small tree in front is a fine inclusion!
