Laiya is one of the great spots one can go just to get away from the daily grind of the metro. Its 2 1/2 hour drive is worth it for a weekend trip since all other popular beaches of the Philippines would need travel by air.
Multiple resorts are nestled in its shores and one can just go there and pick what suits ones budget.

an envy for us who at the moment is under the misery of the winter cold! a gorgeous capture with that segment of the beach umbrella to the right giving the idea that the place is warm, yet so cool as the blues around suggest. i have spent 4 years in Batangas City after college before i "ventured" abroad and didn't hear about this place but matabungkay. this must be one of those new resorts sprouting all over the archipelago, and guess i have to go back visit, ala eh!
ps be back for the :-)s

What a relaxing shot! i cannot believe this is in Batangas!!!! where is all the pollution? hehe What a nice little hide away. Your shot very very detailed, the color especially. Very well composed and POV. I wish that pole wasn't sitting out in the middle, but you cannot have everything, plus you will look a bit crazy pulling down a pole just to take one shot. (its missing a flag?) well Great work! i cannot get over the color, that deep blue infused with the azure closer to shore, and that deep blue sky with those cloud formations. Breathtaking, and its in batangas!
