Roxas City is known in the country as the seafood capital. Famous chefs in Manila enhance their cooking style and enthuse customer's appetite through the freshness of seafoods that are shipped to Manila from the province of Capiz. King crab, lapu-lapu, bangus and prawns are among the best selling. They too, supply the largest market of dried fish wherein you can witness this bountiful industry right on the coast line. The local folks process them just outside their homes drying the fish from the intense heat.
