Puka Beach, Malay Aklan
I took this photo while my son was busy swimming . I was so amazed by the serene feeling I felt when we got off the boat. The stretch of white sand is a few minutes boat ride away from the northern tip of Boracay island.
This beach is where you will find the rare puka shells in Boracay. “Puka” is the Hawaiian word for “hole”. This is where the locals gather the small puka shells to produce beaded necklaces, bracelets and anklets.

First of all, welcome to Trek Earth. This is a beautiful scene, which defines the Tropics for many people: all you need is a palm tree! The problem is over-exposure, true also of your other posting. It's given you burnt-out highlights and no deep shadows (though I'm aware of the brilliance of the midday sun, and all those light tones). Perhaps you wouldn't mind a WS to see what can be done.
P.S.: Your image is too small. Check the maximum dimensions and file size (1500 pixels and 500kb I think), and stick close to those. The image will look better on viewers' monitors.

Dear Michelle, the exposition and colors are superb it's a pity that the picture is not bigger size, I like this type of boats, excellent resolution, warm regards

The distance between the beach and the horizon is giving depth to the composition. The point of view is showing the details and colors of the boat. The good luminosity is making the colors to stand out. Have a nice day.

Ciao e buona serata

I have appreciated your visiting and again each photography posted here reveals at most the places where had our presence. These are typical boats with interesting details as thin, high and finally the aside floats. Perhaps one day may have the oppotunity to be in one of them. I am fond of beaches and never get tired of them. Despite all a visitant also can have other trips in the region. The water looks to be so transparent. Just where I live is quite different for the sake of the pollution. Even so beaches get too crowdy. This photo also helps us in our researches before travelling. Warm regards. Tomi
