i'm starting out into the night
trying to hide the pain
i'm going to the place where i love
and feeling good don't ever cost a thing
and the pain you feel is a different kind of pain.

i'm going home
back to the place where i belong
and where your love has always been enough for me
i'm not running from
no, i think you got me all wrong
i don't regret this life i chose for me
but these places and these faces are getting old
so i'm going home

the miles are getting longer, it seems
the closer i get to you
i've not always been the best man or friend for you
but your love remained true and i don't know why
you always seem to give me another try.

so, i'm going home

nb: this day, next month (october) i will be enjoying this place once more after 2.5 years of absence. the more it gets nearer, the more the nights are getting longer! i'm dead excited to be home to the place where i belong.

é sempre bom relembrar nossa terra natal, ainda mais quando temos a chance de revê-la. Você sabe que é um privilegiado de poder estar reencontrando os parentes, os amigos, enfim as pessoas que tanto que querem bem. Às vezes, quando estamos longe é que mais refletimos sobre nossa família e o quanto ela nos faz falta. Portanto, consigo entender muito bem essa sua felicidade e saudade (this word doesn't exist in english). Logo estará saciando essa sede...and of course the picture traslates your sensation, I can feel that. Well done!

Oh that going home song! Everyone seems to feel the image and song...

Alone in a Hong Kong subway I began to miss home, watching the people crowded around me,
eating and talking and staring at walls
and knowing that many of them are home in the same place that is thousands of miles from home for me...nothing feels the same way being at home. The peace and quiet away from reality, just want to live life simply without working, relaxing with your favorite drink doing nothing simply enjoying life at home...

Make the most of it while your home!

I am sorry that you still have to wait 3 weeks to return home.
It's a beautiful tropical view, featuring beautiful colours and a tidy compo. The sky and the sharpness aren't perfect, but, who cares?
