i go home to the Philippines as much as possible.
at young age, i'm apparently endowed with a lot more love of country than most adults...
and one thing i never tire of is taking a culinary tour of Quezon...
the guide, Tita (aunt) Tina takes you around the most known parts of Quezon and shows you the most unknown things...
you get to drink "lambanog" (Quezon's own coconut wine, twice as potent as vodka) in the traditional way, eat to your full in "kamayan sa palaisdaan" where you eat in floating huts above water full of fish, sample tasty street food, all Quezon produced...

here we see three "lolas" (grandmothers) playing... uuuh... craps? black jack? dunno...
