Photographer’s Note

Woke up to a serene scene in Villa Escudero, one morning shortly after rainfall... this is the scene from its many bamboo bridges, the sun was just up and started kissing the surface of the lake.

The floating bamboo raft in this photo is used by locals to traverse one end of the lake to the other. It is amazing how the resort has maintained its lush green and clean lakes despite a continuous influx of domestic and foreign tourists.

This is really cool - you've done so well to show just how calm and peaceful this place is - the water is so still!

my only critism is that I'm not sure which part of the picture is actually in focus, I think it's the water itself... but that said I don't think I could have captured this any better.

You've shown a place where I would rather be right now.

This one awesome scene here, The colours and lighting are great and very detailed! You really caught this clean and calm atmosphere. Looks like a really nice place, your photo is well balanced, i like the green frame, with all the plants, great!
