Photographer’s Note

Villa Escudero is a resort which showcases daily Philippine life and a museum of its history. At its heart is a serene river where one can stay in huts that jut over it.

Took this with a borrowed S7000 and could not figure out (at that time) how to change the ISO setting. There were also some specks of birds in the sky. Should I have cloned them out?

i love the atmposphere of the picture, to me it's equilibrated well. I have nothing to say about the birds...

Very nice warm atmosphere because of the sun's ray, good point of view and composition. Do not clone out the birds, if you can put more on the proper places it would be better. You just persuaded me to visit it this May. Thank you for sharing it.

the huts being focused by the light is magnificent. The imposing Mt. Banahaw as background tops it.

nice composition and timing to take the photo - seems like your in the set of crouching tiger hidden dragon -(if it woul have been shot in the philippines) :) !
