Not hard to see or hear a rooster in the Philippines. They run to and fro most of the time, and voluntarily return to house of the person who will eventually slaughter and devour them. Should you not trust your chicken, you can tie him up anywhere--public property is just as good as private. I've seen the chickens being transported on passenger buses and tied to an air conditioner unit at an outlet of Bank of the Philippines (BPI) in the city. This chicken was not a fighting cock, but he was huge enough to make a few meals. I actually came back 2 months after the shot and he was monstrous.
