Photographer’s Note
Aka Mary of Cleophas, was said to be the mother of St. James the Lesser and sister of Mary. She was present at Christ's crucifixion, and went to His tomb on Easter morning. All else that is known is legend.
Throughout the predominantly catholic Philippines, images of biblical saints are paraded in processions on Holy Wednesday, Good Friday and Easter Sunday.
