Photographer’s Note
Along the road a few kilometers from Taal Volcano, I noticed the attractive silvery white pollen 'feather-like' stems of the cogon grasses. I wasn't sure if I was going to stop and take some shots and eventually did and noticed that these grasses are more than 2 meters tall. The Sun was really bright and still high up in the sky, so there was the possibility that I could damage the sensor of the camera and was trying to block the Sun using the grasses. Took some shots and drove off, afterwhich I remembered mintues later that I forgot to shoe on the polarizer I just bought...
