Photographer’s Note

This is the view from the summit of Pico De Loro. Two persons from our group went to the summit about 10 meters higher than this rock so they can take a photo of us, while we at the rock took a photo of them taking photos of us. It was fun!! The blue flysheet at the bottom center of the photo is where 4 of us slept during the night. It rained and we just talked and laughed all night. I won't be in there for sure! The place is beautifull, but I don't work very well with heights. And is is a strange place to sleep too. :)
But that's a nice shot!

I don't think I ever wanna sleep in such a place near sheer cliffs:). Very nice composition. Maybe a little sharpening would be nice.

Thanks for this post. I've seen this picture many times at IslandsPhilippines.Com but I never had the idea of how big it is. I even did a workshop on this. Now that you provided the scale, I'm enlightened. It's seems that you were not too fortunate to go there at the right time but I think you did your best.

Having people at the top of this rock provides a wonderful perspective and makes this photo quite interesting. Nice shot!

I get nauseous just thinking about sleeping there! Truly amazing on your part. I wish the clouds were not in the way but what a wonderful place to capture.
