Philippines, being a tropical country, is a haven for coconut trees. A big part of the country's export industry comes from these trees. Almost nothing is wasted in a coconut tree. Its fruits can be eaten together with its refreshing juice. The leaves are being used as roofs for houses, the trunk can be used as lumber and the roots are said to have medicinal values.

Not too sure what to make of this. The long tree trunk adds a sense of perspective, but leaves a lot of wide open nothingness on either side. Personally I prefer it with most of the trunk cropped off, and then perhaps made into black and white or sepia toned... just an idea.

Comme une étoile dans le ciel, cet arbre est magnifique. Très belle composition. J'aime tel que photographié.
