Photographer’s Note
Lake Sebu is a lake town in the middle of Allah Valley in the province of South Cotabato. It is the home of the T'boli, a unique tribal group famous for its T'nalak weaving, brass wares, tilapia and colorful costumes.
The lake also serves as the most important part of the lives of the people as the primary source of food. Kids can be seen playing or fishing using improvised harpoon and goggles or a rod.

C: very cool. This could have been a Nat Geo winner - only soft and noisy - great concept. c

Hi Czaldy, this caught my attention, sure it's not perfectly detailed.. but i like it for more than just that, the documentary like shot is very impressive. He is looking perfectly straight at you, positioned very well, and even better, has a fish he speared held up perfectly in view. Very very good composition in this situation. Nicely cut up around him as well to center him in the shot, with still nice water and lily coverage. Great shot! and i must agree, this is the type of stuff i see on my Nat Geo front page!!
