we were on our way to Katibawasan Falls when we saw this bat eating near the road. we stopped and i started shooting with my wide zoom at 40mm. light at the back was strong so i had to use flash. this was the closest i got before she flew away

that's a timely capture, benedict! the brown eyes with the pinpoint pupils are the accents of this capture. i am considering getting a bat for a pet when i retire....:-)

This is a great shot, so sharp, you can see all the details of the bat´s wings. I also like the contrast between the brown bat and the green background. Well done!
