Tropical Moon
 |
|
| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
taken on December 2007 while i led a dozen of Canadians doing a mission project up in the SULADS High School for the Indigenous People in Santo Domingo, Quezon Bukidnon.
the shot i really wanted was when the moon was just rising up - with the tree and the mountain in the foreground.
however, by the time i had the settings i wanted, the moon was way up.
shot hand-held. |

Hi Charles, well composed shot! excellent shot! Very balanced! The mountain, with the moon making it's way up (as if it's following the lines of the mountain) is great! I wish, for TE's sake, that the Author-marks down the bottom where less intrusive (as i would of loved to see a big shot of this scene!), but it's for a good cause. Thanks for sharing! I will try and put this area on my to-see-list next time in the Philippines!
Regards,
-Tom

SIMPLE BUT VERY EFFECTIVE COMPOSITION WITH THE SILHOUETTE SERVING AS A GOOD DIAGONAL FOR THE RISING MOON. I ALSO LIKE THE BLUE OF YOUR SKY

Hi Charles
Nice picture in the blue hour, but your personnal publicity is too imposing, that reduces the format of the image considerably.
Cheers
