Photographer's Note

Tagaytay City is a favorite destination during summer, when the humid temperature in Manila hikes to the high 36-40 degrees celsius. Tourists and locals alike, flock to this summer city due to the cool climate and excellent landscapes of the world's smallest volcano, Taal Volcano.

In this photo, while it is summer vacation in the Philippines, a charming young child on school break helps her mother tend to their stall selling mangoes, bananas, and mangosteen to tourists in the highlands. Her expression is priceless, she actually doesn't know whether to smile or stare.

Un très joli portrait de cette charmante jeune fille. Une très belle utilisation de la lumière et un très beau travail de PP qui mettent particulièrement en valeur son regard et son sourire. les couleurs sont splendides et j'aime l'arrière plan flouté mais qui laisse deviner les fruits.
