Photographer’s Note
Built on one of the oldest Jesuit campuses in Asia, the Church of the Gesu was opened in 2001 by the Society of Jesus in the Ateneo de Manila University grounds in Loyola Heights, Quezon City.
The triangular structure is shaped like a pyramid, with ambient lighting getting through the center of the church via floor to ceiling glass windows. The Crucifix at the center is lighted 24/7 and its reflection on the floor is vivid. The Holy Water receptacle is right in the middle as well, by the entrance.
