Photographer’s Note
On one of the many footbridges in Quezonon City, I found these two persistent merchants resisting to pack up despite the rain one February afternoon, hoping that the Sun will soon shine again. On a normal shiny day, both sides of the bridge are crowded where you might find the oddest merchandise at the oddest bargain prices...

Hi Alex,Like the composition of this photo, the diagonal line of the umbrellas especially ,i would have cropped either side for more impact. The water on the surface has created such a glazed and reflective surface.Hope you will show us, some of this odd merchandise one day. Thanks Tom.

Hi Alex,
Very nice and well taken image of this footbridge. I like very much the composition, the perspective, the contrast of colours and those lovely reflections on the wet floor. Excellent take!
Have a very nice WE.

Hello Alex, Nice colours even though it was a miserable wet day. The wet pavement produced interesting & pleasing result with the reflections. These merchants are either desperate or very optimistic, did it stop raining ?.
Well done.

Well that is persistent Alex:)
How long would it usually take before the sun is back? can't be much business to be made like this.

That footbridge has an exceptionally shiny surface when it's wet, Alex, and that helps your shot a lot. The essential element of rain is instantly apparent at first glance. Your POV sets the two merchants apart and makes them look isolated and lonely. I hope they got some sales in return for their suffering. Regards, Ken.

Alex: I passed up a few of your posts to avoid the lime-green - here the balanced symmetry produces a powerful effect - and top green. regards, c

Hello Alex,
I like the balance between the two umbrellas, and the reflection of the wet ground.
