Flying Asia's First and oldest Airline, Philippine Airlines, I saw this after departing Manila, kind of like a Final Goodbye to the Philippines.. I Always hate leaving, it always takes around 3-4 days to re-adjust back to reality in Australia.
On Board a Clean and Fresh PAL A330-300 I experienced the typical Filipino Cabin Crew, as Friendly as i Have ever seen, one of my favourite airline Crews. Anyone remember the old-school Philippine Airlines A300's? dubbed and painted up as the "Love Bus" . Heheh. I have some good memories and stories, a lot of my family worked with PAL throught the 70's and 80's, but thats another story.

As you can see, this shot aint all 'arty' or special in a photographic sense, this is because it originally was intended for the Photo Album not to display, thus we have part of the Window in view... So sorry if you where expecting something more than it is.
This view interested me, considering for once im taking a sunrise shot ABOVE the clouds, not under them.
Im not sure if the reflection is the sunlight peeking through the clouds, or from the ocean below, But we sure where Flying High.

*Cropped/resized for TE.
*Enhanced colours, to bring it out a bit more, but not too much (i hope)
Nothing else really, I didnt want to sharpen it up like usual..

hi tom,
i know the feelings. one will always come back to home, sweet home. the foto, tho intended solely for your album, i find it appealing. the milieu so tranquil, non-turbulent, the colors lovely. i always remember PAL's endorsement years back "Philippine Airlines- to our islands and to the world!"

ps- oh yeah, my share to go visit is next month. i am excited, i have sleepless nights ngayon pa lang after 2.5 years of 'absence'. and sure enough, I'm booked on PAL!

nice, almost melancholic photo... vivid colors. this photo nearly conveys the sentiments on your note. cheers, home is closer than we usually think.
