My 75th Posting :)
This is sunset at Manila Bay, taken from Marina Square, near the Philippine International Convention Center (more popularly known as CCP Complex).
Decided to take half of the sunset from this perspective, allowing its light to penetrate the big lamp, making it appear like it's lighted up.
Am taking a break from posting Boracay Island photos, to give tribute to the spectacular sunset that the City of Manila - my birthplace - is known for.

Hi Jcc! I like the composition, it focuses on the right and leaves the foreground lamp

I went through your gallery and in my opinion you have an interesting number of pictures which are really quite good.
This one is excellent and the idea very clever. Like that you avoided a strong light and at the same time highlighted the simple beauty of the street lamps. Well done.

Excellent POV. Great warm colours along with some moddy reflections.
Good idea to have the sun go through the lamp. Very nice composition of yours.

A clever composition, natural light within! I like the 'carmelised' or 'golden' colour it represents, very unique interpretation of the image as well. :D
All the best!

That is indeed a unique way of showing a sunset. I like your composition though, as it gives the very ordinary looking lamp (especially during the day) a lot of drama.
