Shot on my very first trip to the Philippines in 2003, I'd never ever planned to photograph the people or children there - and these images represent some of the first important images I shot there.

Matter of fact, the Laguna Little Girl images were photographed on the same day as my personal favorite photograph: 'Children of Laguna Province' on my Treklens gallery.

My love for street shooting began on that very day, for the first time.

The most charming child I photographed in Laguna Province, Philipines. "Laguna Little-Girl" from page one of my first pbase.com Philippines Gallery - I don't know her name, and I only shot a few images of her & her family that day.

I'd come to Laguna to photograph some furniture for a friend, and as soon as I stopped at the Aling Ising Store for a soda, she saw me with the camera and immediately came over to me and posing & smiling, as though she was "expecting" me to arrive to shoot her modeling portfolio!

She melted my heart that day, as all the local kids did - but she's got her own pbase.com Gallery now, the most charming child in Laguna Philippines.
