| Bantay, Ilocos Sur is a small town close to Vigan City. This town is popularized more because of its Bell Tower that is perched on top of a hill. You can't miss it when you take the national highway going south of the province of Ilocos Sur. The Bantay Catholic Church is close to the bell tower was built during the Spanish period (1530s). The architectural design is influenced by the Europeans although it was built under the Spanish regime by the local people. This church was built through forced labor and slavery during the Spanish period |

Hi Benedict,
the picture is very interestingly, maybe it's very saturation.
Nice shot Benedict, The colours of the Tower and the surrounding area is great. Details and lighting are great as well. I love the old european/spanish buildings dotted around the islands.. beautiful.
Thanks for sharing.
cheers,
tom
Hi Benedict,
Nice colours and light for this interesting tower, maybe for the composition your focal point is placed too much in the middle of your photo ...
Benedict,
Your composition is fine here using the stairs to lead the eye into the shot. The lighting and colors are nice with good sharpness and detail.
TFS,
Asa
had you placed the tower a little more to the left or to the right and give the viewers a vast view of the place, it would have been more an attractive vista, that's IMO of course. nevertheless, a fine work.
