Photographer’s Note
The Roosters den and Cafe.
A small village of prized cocks bred for cockfighting, a sport in the Philippines. I am not one who watches but, its been a longstanding
sport for pay. The A framed structures are the roosters den and habitat.
Some people may abhor the sport but its embeded in our local
culture. Caught off Marcos highway when I was trekking for the sights
and sounds when i heard a faint...cockadoodle-dooo!

Hi Raul
I suspect you have been doing a little burning and dodging again with this shot, right?
I'm interested to know which software you're using and what techniques - but also, if you ever have a chance to include the EXIF data with your upload, it would be good to see what settings you're using. Perhaps adjusting those will mean less PP work?
Anyway, beautiful view and well composed. Thanks for the note, I'm not a fan of cock fighting but at the same time there are far more important things to be concerned about in this world. :)
best regards my friend

Hi Raul,
Great view, nice farm! Not into cockfighting either but my friends are. They always build their cock farms perched on a hill for the cool breeze. Nindot!

Hi Raul!
A very interesting story and a beautiful landscape from a remarkable pov! To me the cock fight is an interestin event, though it has no traditions in my countruy.
All the best!

You have framed this well, Raul, and the red roofs provide a vibrant contrast to the green colours that dominate this composition (but there is something artificial about the edges of the green of the farm - perhaps this is due to some PP?). I see many people carrying cocks on the streets of cities and towns in the Philippines, but I didn't know how pampered they were on these farms until I read your note. Cheers . . . David
