Photographer’s Note
This is the pier in Kawayan. Its on the nothern tip of Biliran island. It looks like its leading to Ginuroan island but that is decieving, coz there is stil big part of water between.

Nice setting, great use of lines. Only suggestions i could ask of you as tips to possibly get the best out of a scene like this, firstly crop out the bangka boat on the left so it is not cut off/in the shot at all (we don't have a wide angle lens.. get the best what we can without the extras, simplicity rules), and as i read you are learning photography. great! one thing first to learn is to use your knees, many people do not really put any thought into composing shots, just stand and shoot, that is wrong. - Crouch, squat, try and get a nice new angle, i believe if you crouched down and used the lines as a main leading line, leading us to the island, with the island and boat in the distance eating up the rest of the frame (no need for the empty ocean to the sides) this could be a better shot for you. However that is my opinion, often a wide shot like this can really work, its just good to experiment especially while learning, Thats whats so good about it.
You have much potential! i am myself a learner by all means, but those are some tips that should help you and this shot in particular.
Peace
