An Elementary School's Breaktime Photo

Photographer’s Note

I went to our town to buy some fish and vegetables for dinner. Few meters away is town's central school located in a nearby seashore. These two pupils must have been their gardening time but they prefered to swim... ha ha ha... cutting class.

For the goodtimes little boys! You can skip gardening sometimes but not the regular classes OK?

Beautifull kids, and expressions.
It's interesting to know that kids learn many things from schools there, apart from the world of books...
I like the way you framed this concept, but would like, if there was some more space , that shows the atmosphere they are in..

Hi Joscel,
I like the slight sepia sort of toning in the shot, but most of all it is their expressions and the way they are holding on to one another in the water that makes the shot. Great tight framing too for this lovely double portrait.

Joscel, this is a great capture - I skipped it before because the thumbnail wasn't very appealing - but the photo itself is outstanding! Wonderful composition and clarity, your subject isn't too closely cropped and you have captured the moment. wonderful job congrats!!!! mark

hi JP,
this picture reminds me of those days i was in elementary school as well. noon break after lunch, 2 other sibblings, myself and 2 cousins headed our way to the river a block away from our school each of us getting our share of plunges and swimmings. coming back for the afternoon class sessions,
our eyes were all red...a clear "evidence" we can't hide from our teacher who, incidentally was our aunt..and you know what we got from her, huh?......
thanks for bringing back childhood memories.
