Photographer’s Note

the Bohol Beach Club Resort has become a popular haven for both local and foreign visitors alike. here we see 'locals' enjoying cool breeze after lunch. the lifeguard wasn't in his post..he too went for his lunch break.

this beach resort is located in the island of Panglao in Bohol, 30-minute ride from the capital, Tagbilaran City. Daily flights by PAL both from Mactan Internaional in Cebu City and Ninoy Aquino International in Manila make this resort within fast reach. Also, a 1.5-hour ferry from Cebu is another alternative.

A GORGEOUS island!! The beaches of Panglao are fabulous! A very beautiful picture. The lighting and shadows are very nice. Good color. Have a happy day!

lovely scenary. I'd like to be transported to there right away! The square format fits pretty well. Very nice natural clarity and soft colors. Good one, Ben!

Them life guards maybe in the cabana with a girl or guy having some drinks & enjoying the sun.LOL...They don't need no stinking life guard with such a great paradise spot like that, so I wouldn't worry about them.

Sky and palm trees are giving perfect feeling of tropical place. White tower and boat are stays greatly front of nature. Splendid colors and lights, congratulations.

Hi Benedict,
On this almost winter day, it's quite pleasant to look at this tropical paradise. The compo is very nice, with the trees 'growing' on the diagonal and framing the elevated little cabin. It's pity that the shadows are so dark and the definition isn't the best one, but that isn't enough to spoil the pleasure of looking at it.

Nice sweet postcard, they do have white sand like Boracay. The lifeguard is hmmm, well my first guess same as what Herbert mentioned, making out with a girl somewhere. I know where, up the coconut tree $#@!? Hehehe just having fun dude!

This is a great place to hangout on holiday ... visited Bohol a couple of years ago and hired a v-hire to tour around the place. You've captured this perfectly with the right balance of light and shadows. Well composed! Tfs ...it is now winter here in NZ and looking at the beach makes me homesick.
