Photographer's Note
The young boy yawns as the early morning sun shines on his forehead. The boy and his mother are sea-faring Badjaos who met a passenger ferry at the pier. I was a passenger of the ferry and took this photo from the boat deck as we were disembarking. The boy’s right leg appears relaxed but there is a firm grip (to the wooden boat) on left foot. As I look at it again, I think this will have more visual impact had the mother's head been completely included in the frame.

Very Very nice, Danilo!
POV is just excellent, combined with the great timing and superb composition! Contrast is excellent, the boat framed between the blue-green water and the crossing wood bar - all work to further isolate the little yawning kid, and his mother... Too bad the lady's head was left outside the frame, but nonetheless, fabulous take!
TFS!

Hello Danilo!
Another nice capture from this interesting series! I like this POV, showing everything from that canoe's life. That kid is in an interesting, and strange, position with his legs and arms!

Hi Danilo,
Well framed image, and with beautiful colours from the rising sun!
I particular I notice the water appearing like unreal...

Hi Danilo,
The shot of yawning boy is amazing. The boat with the bamboos looke effective but I am of the view that you should have got the full image i.e head of the mother in the frame.

Hi Danilo
A great POV and a great capture in a nice, sharp and colourful shot. As you say in your note, it's a pity part of the person on the right was cut off and I would perhaps be tempted to crop. A great shot nonetheless. Well done.
Best wishes

Hi Danilo,
Excellent composition. Stunning colours. But its the little boy who is the winner all the way. You surely captured a wonderful moment. Well Done!

Danilo very effective work here. I see you mentioned about her head being cut from the frame. It always seems to me that either the lens is never wide enough in instances like this, and not long enough in other settings. Timing was critical in this one too. Looks like you needed a little wider lens on or could have cropped on the left and allowed a little more on the right. A but so much fuss over a moment in time. Good Results!

Hi Danilio,
You've managed the difficult light well to show a charming picture of the young boy. The details of the narrow boat with its outriggers in the glassy water and the ripples from the boat movement combine to make a memorable backdrop.

Hi Danilo
This is a shot that demonstrates good timing and quickness. You have captured the nice morning light which shines across the scene and delivers good and pleasing colours. This is a great work.

Your elevated viewpoint has produced a very interesting image here Danilo.
In terms of the composition, I would have preferred it if the mother's head wasn't bisected by the edge of the frame, as you say in your note. I think the good points in the rest of the composition outweigh this small issue though. I especially like how the stabilising rods cut through and divide up the frame like that.
I think you showed good timing in taking this just as the boy broke into a yawn.
Good work.
