[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The annual Philippine International Hot Air Balloon Fiesta (PIHABF) is the country's biggest aviation sports event today. This year, a total of 22 participants from all over the world graced the event.

It was my first time to attend such gatherings. It was a last minute decision that's why I was not able to secure a special pass to get close the the balloons. Anyway, unlike landscape photography, balloon shooting is quite challenging since you only have a few seconds to catch them before it gets blown by the wind.

One of the most unique balloon was this one which is owned by a Japanese flier. It also reminded me of Octo1, the pet robot of Little John in the cartoon Voltes V way back in the 80s.

I guess the balloon festival helps brings out the child in us =)

Hello Andrew,
I guess the balloon festival is an interesting photo event, with so many shapes and original points of view!
This is an attractive frame of a graphic nature, could be good for a poster of some kind...
Good colours and details!
Greetings,
Pablo -
