[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Only in the Philippines. Young boys walking streets during Holy Week and perform the act of flagellation.

First, a skin on the back is cut a little by a razor blade. Next, thousands of hits rips of the skin. Though rods are made of bamboo tree the number of whips makes the skin look like on the picture.
