Photographer’s Note

This photo was taken just after Christmas. I am trying to capture a beautiful sunset that day when this farmer pass thru my lenses then I ask him if I can take a picture of him and his water buffalo then he gave me a beautiful smile. I told me that he was so happy that after a hard day of work someone want to take his picture despite his dirty look because of the mud of the farm

Nice photo of this farmer on his cow...I love the way they ride their cows in Asia! And such happniness in irradiating from his face! :-)

Hi...Nice shot. This just reminds me of Yama, the God of death in Indian mythology. He is believed to ride a buffalo with a knot of rope in his hand. I guess the only thing missing is a big moustach and a golden crown..:)

Contrasting environment and subjects you've captured here, Verge. A carabao and her sibling walking along a cemented road, with a modern house in the background, instead of working in the fields. The feeling of movement is very visible, and I like the farmer's improvised hat. Good catch.

Ton image ma plaît énormément, particulièrement cette scène ou le buffle grand travailleur au service des hommes. Je trouve aussi ce paysan heureux, parce que sans doute avec son buffle ils ont bien travaillés. Amicalement/jr
